Protection on Back of New iPhone

Was so excited to upgrade from iphone 11pro. Looked at 14 pro, then decided on 15 as newer phone and I liked the blue. When it arrived hubby thought it was a paper backing ! Its is NOT BLUE, its white. Its not even a sparkly white. Its horrible. How can Apple dupe its customers like this. If they can get the blue around the edges of the phone they can get the blue on the back. Its horrible. Commented on X and they said review returns policy. Thats not helpful, my old phone already sent back for trade in and my new one set up. WHY is it WHITE? Its like they don't care as I see no responses at all.

From what I can see online, the shade of blue is very, very light. It could definitely look white under certain lighting. I don't think there's anything wrong with your phone.

My current/last iphone was white - I wanted something different - like blue! Sooo disappointed!

I have the yellow and you cannot tell it’s yellow. It’s so pale.

The “yellow” is just as white as the blue. 😠

No. The phone is a very pale blue and in some lighting conditions can look white-ish. This is a photo directly from Apple's website showing the very pale color of the blue iPhone 15:

I am the complete opposite - I needed to upgrade my iPhone 11 and hated these “fancy” colors they came out with for the iPhone 15plus

I chose the blue as it was the least offensive to me and sooooo happy to find the blue is so pale it’s almost white.

I just bought a 15 in blue and also thought it had a white protector. I was initially disappointed. However, I bought a clear case that has a very slight blue tone (look at the edge of a clear case and you will see either yellow or blue). The cover also has a pattern with white and purple, and the blue color of the phone looks absolutely gorgeous with the case. I’m now thrilled with my phone!

Every Apple store has samples of every device they have on sale that you can pick up and examine.

I call the "yellow" "you need to brush your teeth."

I’d actually like to see a picture of that I was wanting a white iPhone 15 Pro Max I didn’t wanna wait. I have to order it so I got the blue and I don’t see any whiteness to it at all.

and I thought it was only me! there is nothing blue about my phone except this tiny tiny bit around the edge of the back. absolutely ridiculous!
