My Apple news widget disappeared after updating my phone to iOS 17.4.1

Same in India! No clue what’s going on.

Been gone for two days. It was the only way I used to read news. Bring it baaaaack! India

Same thing happened in india too i also having a same problem from last two days. News widget gone from india too .

… and before the widget was gone, they showed almost only those news which weren’t readable without paying.

Yeah, I’m from and I lost the news widget on my iphone too, need the widget back!

Same in France, frightening to say that apps can disappear with any users action (o_O) …

Mine is also suddenly gone. I even subscribe for more iCloud storage thinking that maybe my low iCloud storage was the problem.

Yes, my Apple News widget has also disappeared since the past few days. It was a nice feature to have. Don't know what's going on.

Apparently the Apple News is now Apple news+ is a new subscription service currently available in the US.

1 month on, have we still got not fix nor update to this broken feature?
