Keyboard not responsive when using powerpoint. Scroll up and down not responsive

when using microsoft my keyboard will highlight something like the space on google chrome and from then i wont be able to press space. Also not being able to fix a point whenever Im typing or reading as page scroll down and up by itself

MacBook, macOS 11.7

Please ensure your version of Office for Mac is up-to-date, that helps fix many issues. Open any of the apps (Word, Excel, PPT) then go to the Help menu and select Check for Updates and go have lunch and a beer and come back in a couple of hours to see if there are updates that have installed. Then restart the computer and test it.

This sounds like a browser issue with a particular file. Try saving the file and opening it with PowerPoint afresh? Or does it happen for all files offline?
