Syncing photos from my phone to ipad

So i want to stop my iPhone photos syncing to my iPad but then at the same time i want my iPhone photos to be syncing to iCloud. My phone operates iOS 15.7.9 and my ipad operates iPadOS 17.4.1.

On your iPad only, disable iCloud Photos.
