Different Screens on 8GB vs. 16GB 3G?

Recently picked up a 16GB 3G iphone from an AT&T store. Days later picked up an 8GB 3G from the Apple store for my wife. Side by side comparison with brightness being equal her screen (8GB) is clearer and brighter. Mine (16GB) is slightly duller and less dynamic. Should I exchange mine? Or be happy that everything else appears to be functioning properly?

Actually I just started a similar thread without checking this ne-I have the same issue-my brand new iphone 3g looks washed out and dull against every other iphone 3g I have compared it too, with both set on full brightness.

I got mine on the 6th of jan and had the most recent exchange today, have just updated to 2.2 and same issue. It seems pretty poor that my new iphone performs worse than my friends old one!

Would love to know whats going on here....

Ok, I did some scientific research. I took our two phones (my 3G 16GB black iPhone, purchased August 2008 - wife's 3G 16GB white iPhone, purchased January 2009) and took some pictures. I downloaded the "Flashlight" application, put the brightness to the max on both phones, used the app to display different colors, turned off all the lights, and took some pictures. The biggest difference is when it displayed the black screen. Check it out...

I also took pictures of some icons and you can see a difference too...

It seems like my older iPhone has alot more light leaking through the LCD, so things look more washed out which is exactly what I can see with my naked eye. At lower brightness her newer phone looks alot more vibrant and much better. So here's proof that the two phones are different.
