It’s been a while since anyone has posted about this but I stumbled across this thread today as I’m having these issues. Everything else works fine but Apple TV will buffer to no end. I can’t watch anything on it without getting annoyed and turning it off. Why is this still a problem?!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I dont think its a bandwidth issue. It would have affected all streaming services. I dont see any issue as such on Netflix, not even loss in quality. Apple TV on the other hand ends up freezing every 10 seconds and I am about to cancel my subscription.
Your problem is inadequate bandwidth. Do you use a Mesh network?

Mine does this despite having very fast internet (80mbps upload and download). All other services in my home work seamlessly.

Same! The app on my Vizio Smart TV buffers every few seconds, then works for a short, and then starts over again. I can go to Apple TV+ on the web and choose the same show with zero buffering.
All my Internet devices are working perfectly fine YouTube Netflix, but I am trying to watch AppleTV on Samsung device. TV keeps on buffering. Sorry I’m going to cancel my subscription disappointed
Apple please fix it. We can’t be complaining of the same issues months on end.

Agree 100% We are all having these issues and it’s not us!
I have a 300 MPS connection and some of the apps on my Apple TV are buffering.
I don’t do netflix, not my thing. My cable ISP line is 300 MPS and the speed is actually usually around 378 MPS all the time using multiple assessment sites
