iCloud Email Alias can only Send, Received Messages Bounce Back to Sender

I have the same issue on an alias that I just created. As far as I can tell, all the settings are correct and I can send emails just not receive.

Interesting that there have been no replies to this query.

Maybe we're the only ones having this issue?

Have you tried calling Apple support? That's my next step tomorrow.

I have contacted them in the meantime. The level 2 support suspected that the problem was caused by the fact that I created the aliases via the iCloud settings on the iPhone and not on icloud.com. According to the instructions she received, it should only work on icloud.com. However, she wasn't sure whether the instructions might not have been updated after the update to 17.

Her suggestion was to delete one alias as a test and create another via icloud.com. Since the alias worked for me the next day, I didn't have to try her suggested solution.

I am having the same issue. All of my settings appear to be correct but I cannot receive any mail to my aliases. All you did was change the label, save the changes, and it started to work?

This is the problem I'm having! I can receive ALL of the emails, but I can't reply to anything from either email on my computer. And I don't even have the option to send it from my alternate from my phone. I've tried every variation of every setting and nothing is helping!

Resolved the next day. I guess I just needed to be patient :)

in iCloud mail , go to settings >Account >Send from > uncheck all the other aliases or primary mail and only leave the alias you want to send mail from. it solved the issue for me.
