Pages go blank when printing from safari

I've been dealing with "some" glitches when printing since latest update. When I press the print option the printer page comes up but the page is there and then "poof" its gone both on the prescreen and the background page. Printer option screen shows a white page with no printing and actual site page turns black. Now this doesn't happen for all of them so I am confused as to why it works for some and not for others. Even when I try to open in preview it shows blank. Im running on a MacBook Pro Version 17.0 Anyone have ideas? I've updated my printer, reset my printer but I don't think its the printer issue.
