(err=3259) CAN'T UPDATE MY iPHONE 4 SOFTWARE TO vs 4.3

hi'ya all

having a problem with when i use itunes to update tge frimware to vs 4.3 it gives me this message all the time in middle of download

THE NETWORK CONNECTION TIMEOUT, MAKE SURE YOUR NETWORK SETTING ARE CORRECT AND YOUR NETWRK CONNECTION IS ACTIVING

my internet works perfectly nothing wrong with it , i tries to disable my antivirus and still the same downlaod corrupted in middle .

any ideas pleas

I am having the same problem updating my iphone 4 to 4.3...however what is really strange is that tonight my husband updated his iphone3GS and it worked perfectly so I think that the issue is with my phone and not my computer.

If the phone syncs normally, then it's very unlikely that it's the phone that's at fault. Try the solutions posted earlier in the thread (i.e. download the update separately, then install it).

If you're not sure about this, try the test below to confirm whether the phone is at fault

Connect the phone to iTunes, and do a backup. Then do a restore. If the restore works OK, then the update problem is not with the phone.

I am having the same issue, i have tried it with/without a router. I have tried it with my DSL line/ Cable Internet Line/ Wireless broadband card. Same error.

Have you disabled any anti-virus and firewall?

Have you tried the steps I outlined in an earlier post to download the update file separately?

Hi,

what's about downloads for 4.3.2. This error happens to me every update of iPhone or iPad. And then after trying and trying it randomly succeeds. Nothing to do for me with Firewall on or off.

Is there any other thing to do I haven't had the chance to update my iPhone since 4.3.2, I've tried many things: disabled my firewall, unistalled my antivirus, add a new rule to the firewall granting permissions to itunes, tried to download the update from different sites, set from my router the ports were mentioned in the forum apple regarding the communication to the apple server, and keep getting the same error, my internet connection is doing good, but when I try to download the update from any site mentioned before the dowloanding gets interrumpted, when try to download the update from iTunes I get the error!!!!

Please ideas to solve this issue!!!!
