Does my iPad have a virus or bug?

What FceBook app are you using... it could be a bug with that app and not the iPad...
FaceBook is releasing their official app in early Oct...
If you use Safari to browse FaceBook do you get same issue... if not then it's a bug in that app and not iPad
No, your iPad does not have a virus. There aren't any viruses for the iPad.
Sounds like the Facebook app is stuck on that one redirect page. Turning your iPad off, then on again, should fix that issue.
You could alternatively double-tap the Home button, then tap-and-hold on the Facebook icon until it gives you an X to kill the app. Then try again.
Hope that helps!
Tap Settings / Safari.
Clear the History, Cookies, and Cache.
Restart your iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPod touch. To turn iPod touch back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
I have the exact same problem started yesterday. I already cleared all history, cache, cookies, restarted, un installed app, re installed app, then checked all setting in facebook, same problem. If someone in my friend list posted a video, I am immediately redirected to a safari window that opens YouTube. Happens if I open status window, and if I try to view a friends page.
Must be some type of Facebook virus. It does not occur on any other device or computer when viewing Facebook.
Anyone know how to fix?
It is begining to appears that the servers for FB have a bug which is causing them to redirect your iPad to the last video on your wall.
The solution appear you are going to have to wait for them to get off their duff and patch their servers.
The problem does NOT appear to be with your iPad.

Bug = Virus
Wonder if FB even know it is a problem yet... And how long it will take for them to recognize and even look at repair...
They may not even look at it, since they are launching an iPad app on Tuesday for FB...
You stated; "Bug = Virus"
Maybe in your opinion that is true but not in the opinion of anyone I have been associated with in IT for the last forty years it certainly is NOT true.
A bug is defined as a software flaw which cause software to function incorrectly. Bugs are in the code when it is written.
Virus on the other hand are self replicating code that is capable of infecting other computers. So a virus is code that is not included in the orignal program.
From what I have seen on the FB forum, if they are not aware of this problem, they must have their heads buried very deep in the sand. FB isn't known to respond very quickly to problems.

You are not alone. Having the same problem since 9/28. There's another thread going on this same topic:
Yeah, tried everything. I just deleted the Facebook App for iPhone on the iPad2 and will wait until the iPad app comes out next week. Got on my last gay nerve dealing with it going to a Youtube web page. LOL! I just use Safari and log in that way.
It appears the problem is being caused by the FB servers. You are going to have to wait for them to get off their duff and fix it. Unless they decide to call it a new feature instead.
