While attempting to set up Yahoo email account on iPad2, I continually get "Server Unavailable. Please try again later." This is happening on iPad2 and iPhone 4S. I've reinitiated the wi-fi. Any ideas? Thanks!
Are you clicking the Yahoo account button? You might want to check what yahoo reccomends for setting up a mail client. See if there are any port settings that may not be correct when using the yahoo account button. If you are using the generic mail account button then you might want to try using the yahoo button instead. My guess is that your account may have the wrong port set for the mail servers, which would result in the server being unreachable.

Yes, I'm clicking the Yahoo account button. Should I try the "Other" button at the bottom? If so, do you know how I would find out the incoming/outgoing SMTP address since I'd have to put that in mannually? Thank you for your response.
I just read elsewhere the Yahoo addresses to input for incoming/outgoing mail under "Other". It worked! Thanks for leading me in the right direction Tom!

I am having same problems. Just bought an ipad2 but cannot sign in or connect to my yahoo mail. You should not click on ‘Yahoo’ while setting up e-mail on your iPhone. Instead of that, you should tap ‘Other’ option available during that situation. You will be then given prompts for proceeding further. You can set up the account successfully by following all of those prompts strictly without any mistake. You should use imap.mail.yahoo.com as Incoming Mail Server while setting up the account. Apart from that, you should use smtp.mail.yahoo.com as the Outgoing Mail Server. Finally, you should confirm whether the Yahooserver is available on your iPhone or not.
