how do you view call history longer than a week old?

BTW, the limit is 100 calls not 3 days. 100 calls for me is over a month. Go back to your Treo if this is so important to you.

That bothers me SO much I had the treo and you are EXACTLY right, how much memory can it use? I had two years of calls one time on the treo!!
btw its kind of rude ignorant and arrogant to say go back to a treo, each user has thier own needs, in my case I go through a 100 calls by like about 4pm each day.

There's no question that to limit phone calls up to 100 calls is a bad idea, and a weak approch. I have spoken to numerous of people and everybody complains about this limitation. You don't have to go to the palm treo to get this FEATURE, Apples biggest rival Samsung has this feature to scroll down to all your previous calls. Its devastating that Apple is restricting such an important option to so many people, its sometimes urgent. If the issue is GB, THEN IT SHOULD BE A OPTION TO TURN IT ON OR OFF AT LEAST!!!
As I said in my response from eighteen months ago earlier in this thread:
"You can visit your cellular carrier's website and get call history going much further back there."
This is a poor replacement, its like saying you should check your emails at your computer evry time. It needs to be as default like SMS or email. Apple does wrong by this limitation, EVERYBODY COMPLAINS.

No, "EVERYBODY" does not complain. In fact, I'd guess only a small minority actually care at all.

I'm a dealer and activating almost very day a iPhone, I can say that almost everybody have asked me about it and complained at it. Bingo.

Actually I make a point of clearing mine periodically.
I do too! I think 3 is the largest list size I have ever had.
