i thought that if i will change the sim, facetime will automatically appear or will be installed.

Your thinking was incorrect. There is, as has been said multiple times now, no way to activate Facetime on any iOS device that was officially sold in the UAE. No way. Period.
Regards.
alright. thanks dude!

Apparently not...
Hi Guys,
Now this is for all the genius out here I have been saying about the Facetime not working in the Middle East, to my understanding all of them are wrong here.
Some smart ppl have pointed towards the apple support doc @ http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937, if this document is too be read properly it states that the Facetime is available in the region.
For example check Bahrain, FACETIME is allowed by the two operators out of 3, the english spoken cant get it right.
Facetime by some extent is blocked by the region but can be unlocked by the operators.
I brought an Iphone 4S from the same region, my Facetime works for the 2 operators in Bahrain but it does not work for one operator.
Can somebody explain me this.............
FaceTime is never been blocked from the device, as everybody thinking.
It is only blocked by operators.
In Kuwait they have two operators allowing FaceTime and and third one no.
Yes. You might be right. But in my case, I bought my iPhone in Doha, Qatar. Out of 2 operators, the vodafone allows it and Qtel don't, I've used it (the facetime) when I was there with vodafone. Now If you are saying that it was the operators discreation to allow and disallow the facetime on your device, how come when I go to my own country the Philippines which is an open country. All networks allow facetime there take note. When I use the sim card from Manila, facetime does not show on my device. The only solutin there is to have a facetime back is to SSH the app to your phone. Where can we get the app for iOS???

You cannot.
Again. For the 100th time. FT is crippled on LEGIT phones sold in KSA and UAE. On other phones sold in the Middle East it may be restricted as you say by the operator.
Steve you were saying that apple Deleted it due to restriction of the government? But why can't you install it once your no longer in that country?
Because you can't. It's based on the model # of the phone. It will NOT install. Ever.
I have a UAE phone bought from axion mobile that came with FaceTime. It IS a UAE phone confirmed when I took it to apple in the US because I had a problem and they could not help me because it was made for the UAE. It works. It has to be possible for others to get it.
You can only get the iPhone in the UAE from the carriers or from the Apple Online store. Axion is not a legitimate iPhone reseller. Therefore, you got a gray market iPhone which is not intended for the UAE. No matter how many times you spin it, you cannot get FT on a UAE or KSA iphone.
Hi,
Agree as far as FT in UAE is concerned.

Did you have a look at
Apple verified it was a phone made for the UAE. Does this mean Axion has a way to unlock facetime? After I bought it they had uploaded several apps including an expensive igo middle east navigation app for free. I had to come back a half hour later to allow for the downloads.
Even if sold in the UAE, that phone must not have ORIGINATED from the UAE, hence it has FaceTime.
