How much does it cost for apple to replace a iPad 3rd generation with a couple of tiny dents on the back?

dude you really need to read all your responses again... everything that can be answered has been answered, even with helpful links provided from stevejobsfan0123 & deggie for example. & everything else you need to ask apple.

you have an appointment at apple, so ask them then. no one else can tell you more until you see apple. please stop asking the same questions as there is nothing else we can tell you.

If your iPad still works, it will not be replaced (even if you pay) simply for a few dents (whether it is in warranty or out of warranty).

What everyone has been trying to tell you from the beginning is that we don't know. Nobody here can give a definite answer on what Apple will say. The only way to get the answer to your question is to go in for your appointment and find out.

If you absolutely want a replacement, and won't be able to breathe till you get one, I suggest you buy a new iPAD, and then sell the old one for what it's worth. Or, if the damage is so bad it can't be sold ( and you are not telling us it's that bad) just put it away in some corner where you will never notice it, and for Christ's sake forget you ever bought that! THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!
