How to unlock my iPad 3 4G from operator?

I got my iPad from Dubai and it appeared to be locked on AT&T, we were not informed about that when bought it. I live in Sweden and here we don't have this operator, i tried to reach swedish office for AT&T, but they couldn't help and i can't contact american office from here. What should i do to be able to use my iPad 3 with a swedish mobile operator? It is really useless to have an iPad without a mobile connection and i don't want to buy apple-products in the future if they are hopelessly locked on operators and the company doesn't care that i can't use this product.

If your iPad is locked to T-mobile, the only way to get your iPad unlocked

is to work with T-mobile and meet their requirements for unlocking.

You broke the cardinal rule, you should meet in person in future to insure the iOS device is unlocked before handing over the money. You may be the money and you may never get this iPad unlocked.

Go back to Tmobile. only they can unlock it for you. But you might to bring proof that your iPad is not stolen.

iPads are all unlocked...if you bought from ebay its possible it might be damaged. You should buy from apple directly if you dont want problems. If you go to apply with this question they will tell you the same thing but then again the apply reps dont know everything. I work for a wireless provider in the US and we have activated iPads from different providers as long as there is a sim slot but if its from different countries they might have problems. Different bands, incompatable mobile broadband plans and so on. Do some research before buying on ebay or sites where people are selling on their own.

My ipad 3 wifi+LTE AT&T showed as already unlocked I had paid full price and it was not subsidized. I think the link is US specific but if you goto your local ATT website or in this case the one for UAE they will likely have what you need.
