Very bad battery life on iPhone 4S after iOS 5.1.1 update

I have an iPhone 4S. I bought it with iOS 5.0 on it. Then I upgraded to 5.1, then to 5.1.1. Prior to 5.1.1, I had excellent batery life, just like Apple describes it on its website. Now on 5.1.1, which I just installed 1 week ago, I have absolutely terrible battery life. I get about 3% battery drain per hour on standby. When using it, i get 1% drain every 2-3 minutes, on any app.

I have tried restoring it to factory defaults, then restoring it back to my backup, 2 times, yet still no difference. I am not a heavy user. It seems that my problems started right after 5.1.1. Anybody have any solutions to this, or is anybody expriencing the same problem?

As to the draining of power from the 4s after 5.1.1 yes it is absurdly high. Prior to 5.1.1 with average use I could use from 6:30am to around 9pm before having to charge it. Now this is my average and most likely on the high side because some days I would have to toss it on the charger upon arrival home from the office at 5pm. But having to charge it mid day just to make it home says that they screwed something up.

Well my dear sir. Having read the thread I couldn't consider you differently as you really didn't help any of the people in the thread. Beyond saying thousands have solved the issue you really didn't put forth any worthwhile solutions or comments. But I'm sure that is news to "you and apple"as well. Feel free to pull out your fanboy editor and chop this post as well. I'll venture to other threads in hopes of finding people who don't view themselves quite as highly as you do of yourself.
