tomorrows news: you are buying a costly product like a car:

make sure you read in detail google, nokia and tomtom maps to make sure which car is designed for which roads... after all its your choice to buy or not buy a car.different roads are made of different materials so how do you expect a GM to definitely run on california roads. they only guarantee it can start on those roads, not actually run 🙂

whereas ford runs on california street, but not freeways. you see freeways are a completely different ballgame and the car has to be designed for that road specifically. too bad you didn't contact engineering teams at ford before you bought your car. !

I fond this try it

I had the same problem but was able to find a temporary workaround until Apple/Sprint releases some kind of fix. It's not perfect, but it gets me by for now. worked for me, but I don't know if it'll work for every locale:

I am outside the US and trying to use a GSM SIM card in a Sprint iPhone5 but could not send SMS messages (only receive)

Try this:

1. Go to Settings / Messages

2. Make sure "Show Subject Field" is on

3. Try sending a message but type your message in the subject heading instead of the main box. The key is that the subject line has to have something in it, even a " " blank space will do

I tried sending it this way to other iphones and smart phones and both the subject and body of the SMS would go through, but to older cell phones only the subject heading goes through, and only the first 39 characters.

Hopefully Apple/Sprint will come up with an actual fix, but I'm hoping this is of help to some people out there

omg!!!!! you are a genius...it actually worked...i can’t believe it.....how did you figure this out and what is the logic...you are probably the only person who has managed to give any sort of advise which has actually made any sense.....while everyone was giving their wise comments opinions and views, which was of little use, your suggestion seems to the best solution as of now and seems to work...i tried sending the sms to an android phone and i tried sending the sms to a blackberry phone, while both sms's seem to go through, the android phone is the only phone that actually received the message.

my friend you are a genius and i am indeed grateful to you for your suggestion as this definitely seems like a work around.

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!
