Unlocked iPhone Exchange

I just started having problems withe my iPhone 5 that's Verizon & Factory Unlocked, & I was wondering if I were to go to the Apple Store and they were to swap it out for a "Refurbished Unit" if my Unlock would stay the same, since I dont use VerizonUse T-Mobile.
