Can I download adobe flash player on my ipad mini or at least something comparable ?

Adobe Flash is not available for any iOS device, which includes iPad. I do not know of anything comparable at this time.
The iPAd does not directly support Flash, however, you can look into browsers such as Photon, iSwifter, Puffin etc... that support Flash though.
Support is not 100% so you may have to go through several of them. Also some of them are paid apps but do have free versiosn that let you try them out.
Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

The iPad natively does not support flash. You will have to download a flash supported browser on the iPad to run flash. This might help: http://ipadnerds.com/flash-for-ipad-all-gens/
Geeeez .... about time Adobe pulled their head out of ther arss and started getting in on the game. What an idiot company.
It appears Adobe see it the other way round, since they are dropping Flash on all mobiole devices now. It appears that is too much of a resource pig for mobile devices.
