Dropped my iphone 4 on the tiles and the glass on the back cracked but there was no damage to the casing-my contacts were still there initially but now (24 hours later) they have all disappeared. I unfortunatly don't have a back up because my laptop crashed last week, any way of restoring them or why would they have disappeared?

Where is the backup of the laptop that would be critical to restore the data in just such an instance?
