Have a SGS3 mini, trying to Bluetooth it to my ipad, but my ipad tells me my device is not turned or that its not in range, it is turned on and well in range, any help would be appreciated

IOS devices only pair with headphones, keyboards and other accessories-data transfer between 2 devices through bluetooth is not supported.

IPads have limited bluetooth profiles. Meaning they can only pair to certain devices such as keyboards, speakers, earphones, hands free devices etc...
Direct file transfer is not possible with iPads.
