Information released by apple with no statistical backing.

Fact is the iPhone 5S was popular, but there is a good reason I can buy an iPhone 5C online for $550 Australia dollars. Because it's a sales brick (despite being an iPhone 5 inside).

Let's see how the market share graphs go over the coming 9 months shall we.

Can't see sales records happening whilst they still can't make enough to satisfy a 20 million unit produce compared with 70 million from Samsung.

I'm an Apple iPhone user don't get me wrong, I just like calling a duck a duck.

People in my cohort have been saying that "Apple's done" for over a year now. I agreed back then and decided that the 5 would be my last product from them. The non-Retina screen on the first iPad Mini was the final flag for me... what greedy jerks... iTunes has always been awful, basic and obvious iOS improvements never happen.

With iOS 7, now I have to go get a different device. Apple has joined Microsoft (and Adobe) with the "you're going to use it the way we want and you're going to like it" approach to delivering software/interfaces to its customers.

Such basic stuff for me... don't make me nauseous with the motion (AND PARALLAX ISN'T THE PROBLEM) and let me lock the phone with one press of the top button like before... But they aren't going to fix those things. For me the only reason I was looking forward to upgrading was the slightly easier ability to reach settings with Control Panel. Why did that take years to get done?!?

Apple's software releases are strictly tied to a calender program of sales figures/financial reports. So feature releases are guarded, and evaluated at the time of development, to see if it should be held back for future hardware release (every effort is made to get the consumer to constantly spend money). It's a very old Chinese mentality (why build quality house, then there no job in 15 years!)

The problem is, that there is a lack of vision directly tying customer support, and efficiency in product design to sales. As a result, the customer is lost to a competitor, so no repeat sales are possible at all!

In short, Steve Jobs was brilliant at identifying what the market wanted, and shaping what was available to meet the consumers needs. What the current Apple administration are good at, is delivering "supposed" strategies to shareholders.

Solutions exist, feedback is known, but it takes vision to manage Jobs' legacy, something I dare say is unfortunately lacking from the current administration. Steve would have known that colours on a handset was last decade, he wouldn't have tried it twice. Steve was strict on the ease of use of User Interface and Design, iOS7 is not. Then again, Steve had his own office away from the board members for a reason 😉

No it's a direct and honest answer. There is no Appe approved method of downgrading your iOS. Therefore, logic dictates that you either accept the iOS, or stop using the device.

Don't worry, after 10+ years of apple workflow, having had the original iphone and skipping a generation since, that is my plan.
To sell the device and run!

I'm very excited about Motorola trying Phonebloks and Samsung going all out creating it's own ecosystem.

I used to love my ipad. Until a few weeks ago.

Seriously I have not heard of a single ipad user happy about the upgrade. Maybe it works with the ipad air... nothing else.

On my imac and macbook, when i delete pictures in my finder while having the cover flow toggle on (I am a photographer), the pictures deleted still show up and carry the names of the pictures that are not deleted making working through finder impossible on Maverick

Since Itunes last upgrade and with Maverick, I cannot go get artwork via itunes like I have been doing for a very long time when i import my new CDs in the computer. It now has to be done manually on both my macbook and my imac.

I know it looks like I'm heading away for the subject but I just wanted to make a parralele, Apple seems to be adding all these new features in all its devices (most of them useless to prefessionals) and they are forgetting about the basic thing that made a mac awesome. IT USED TO WORK!

Now the design of all their operating systems look alot like the competition. Cluttered crap.

I am for sure ressetting both the macbook and the imac to lion.

Unfortunately the only option apple gives me for the iphone and the ipad is selling them... wow.

Like many said on this website these past weeks. Thanks apple for scaring me away from what used to be your brilliant company

My iPhone 4s barely erases voicemails now that I "upgraded". ios6 worked perfectly. The rest is just sluggish. It's a ***** just to use the phone for a simple call.

After upgrading my iPad it works, shall I say, "choppy". Before it was nice and smooth transitioning between screens, etc. All I can say is this was a nasty prank - ios7 - not just ugly - I could get used to washed out/greyed out colors and the hyroglyphs in place of common English but the poor device performance really takes the pleasure of of my Apple things.

I'm going to suggest you wait a year, like you would with Microsoft, before you upgrade your computers - I don't want to have that experience ruined too. One year, and im the meantime you can go to an Apple store and see what Mavericks will do to your computer.

Like others also have pointed out , it's was mr. Steve Jobs that made apple great.

Maybe he ruled with an iron fist, and many didnt like it, but the products were great.

But history is repeating and the big bobo's at apple refuse to see it.

Steve jobs left apple a long time ago and it nearly ruined apple, and dream works became a big company.

He came back to apple and brought the company back to life.

Unfortunately Steve Jobs has past on, and the big bobo's finally could do as they like.

And it will ruin apple for good if they keep on this track.

To bring out an iOS for iPhone and iPad with the looks of nokia's Symbian Anna from 2011 and a wanna be android isn't good.

It looks bad, and it works bad. It's just an bad iOS!

The other day I saw a friend with his iPhone on ios6 and i really miss it.

I'm already looking arround for a new mobile and it won't be an apple for sure.

Maybe it will be an samsung... Or an Nokia...

I'm not sure what it will be.

But I have lost faith in apple and its quality and not to forget its great user friendliness....

It's all going downhill from here..

And btw, there is also no "unapproved way by apple" to downgrade.

Once iOS 7 is installed your f***ked.

We can only dream that the big bobo's at apple will realize that the customer can make or break your company.

As I said before, it seems like history will repeat and apple won't survive it this time. There is no Steve Jobs to save them anymore.

I want to downgrade IOS 7 to IOS 6.1.3 !!!
