So far adjusting to all the MANY changes but just got the following message...
iBooks Can't Access Your Library
Make sure the disk containing your library is connected, then click Try Again.
Library Location: (null)
You can also reset your library, then sign in to view and re-download your purchased books.
Any workaround or should I just wait for Apple update??

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11)
iBooks works fine on my other devices, but it won't even open on my new iMac. It tells me to reinstall the app, but the app doesn't show up in the App Store. It seems to me that the fix suggested here requires a computer genius. The program just ought to work, especially on a new $2,000 computer.
It work. Btw, backup the container books first.
I mean the iMac.
Thanks a lot, it worked for me. Just one question, that folder that we've moved to the desktop (com.apple.BKAgentService) should it be kept on the desktop or can be deleted after restoring all the books?
