Unlinking hide my email feature

I’ve read through various replies on this issue and I believe Apple isn’t being clear about the Hide email feature. I’ve seen comments from people , who like me, never got emails from the accounts they used private email to subscribe to.

Also, I need them to make a way for me to be able to unlink the ramen private email from an account without automatically deleting that account.
