iOS 14 is no longer available.

• If you have an iPhone 5S or 6/6plus, the highest you can update to is 12.5.7

• If you have an iPhone 6S through 7, you can update to 15.7.4

• If you have an iPhone 8 or higher, you can update to 16.4.1

Hope for winning the lottery or getting a call about a million dollar inheritance or something actually worthwhile, and not for a combination that’ll be problematic at best.

This given newer iOS inevitably requires more hardware performance and more capabilities than the older iPhone hardware has available.

You won’t like those results.

Use the service websites pending iPhone replacement with a newer (used, refurb) or new iPhone.

Apple was offering USD$30 for an iPhone 7 trade-in. Maybe find somebody considering that offer, and talk them out of making that trade-in, as that’ll run iOS 15.

If you have an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, or earlier, you will not be offered iOS 15.

The last supported version for iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and earlier is (at most) iOS 12.

The current version for iPhone 6, i{hone 6 Plus, and a few other older iPhone models is iOS 12.5.7.

For newer iOS versions, you will need a newer (used, refurb) or new iPhone.

The iOS 12 beta is roughly five years old. This iPhone has not been updated in a while.
