I can’t receive text notifications on my iPhone 15 Pro

Not always the case. I struggle with same issue as decoju but have found that sometimes when I do get a notification, which is never consistent, I have gotten them on both watch and then phone. Consistency is the issue, or lack thereof 😣

I'm pretty sure when I was using my iphone 12mini, I'd get notifications on both my watch and my phone. Now that I have the 15pro, I lost my notifications. I did try powering down my apple watch and was thrilled to notice I was getting notifications once again. Thank you so much for the suggestion.

FWIW, prior to this, I tried a full reset, made sure I didn't have DND or Focus on, and made sure the sender of the texts wasn't muted.

But when my iPhone screen is active, the notifications don’t show up on my screen or over noise or on my watch. Nothing. No focus mode on. When the screen is locked they maybe go to my watch and at least show up on the phone screen.

I’m having the same problem and yes, I noticed under everyone’s name. Hide alerts was turned on even though I did not do this. You have to change each contact individually. You have to turn that off or you won’t get a notification. It’s driving me crazy this needs fixed ASAP.

Appreciate the long time this took to put together but you’re dismissive or assume the user is the problem. I have an issue with that. Apple isn’t infallible and they make mistakes All of the time. I don’t really see how your response has anything to do with what was asked. Even the premise of “something changed” is flawed.

This is how my watch is set...I haven't tried changing anything else on this screen..I'm not getting a hard trap though either is there something else I'm missing?

Do you wear Apple Watch?

Have you opened the Apple Watch App (on your iPhone) > Notifications and made sure you've configured all the notifications to be what you want for each option?

The sound icon is turned off on a text message to me....I get notice on my ipad but it is off on my phone. How to I turn it on on the phone?

I found this somewhere. Try to reset the network settings. It worked for me
