iOS 17.5 has not even been released to the public yet. If you are saying that you have installed iOS 17.5 on your phone, you have installed beta software.

Tap Settings > General > About > iOS Version to confirm what software has been installed on your phone.

I'm having the same issue... driving me mad. The fact that the customer has to uninstall and reinstall for a clear Apple error/issue is extremely frustrating.
Perhaps we could wait until a new iOS comes out?!

Apple didn't install Beta Software on your iPhone. You or someone else who may have access to your phone did. If you don't want or need to be a beta tester, a link was provided above by Bob Timmons on how to uninstall Beta Software. Follow the directions in the link.
