Well, i was waiting for a big update to solve the battery drain issue from iOS 17.4, but the new update x.x.1 make it worse, now my battery take only 5 hours on screen. On iOS 16 it was so different, my phone had something about 10 hours of screen, now its less than half.

I have high battery drain issue on my iPhone 12 since i updated to 17.4.1. My battery health is 89%. after struggling for hours with high battery drain & charging issue, i factory reset my iPhone but status remains same.
Battery drops 15-20% within 15 min while on low power mode & standby, it charges very slowly. All while iphone frame is rocking hot, whether it's charging or dis-charging on standby.
I hope it will not burst. phone is of no use at all to be honest.
I have the same issue with my iPhone 13 Pro Max at iOS 17.4.1. When does Apple is going to fix it??
Same for me on 14 Pro Max. It’s not dropping ridiculously fast, but much faster than before iOS 17.
I have the very same experience. One charge would last 2 days and immediately after updating to 17.4.1 I’m fortunate if the phone makes it through 1 day without having to recharge.
Yea on my 13 Pro I went from 8-9 hours (100% of battery used) to now 100% of battery is gone with around 5 hours give or take of Screen on time.
standby time for battery is also terrible
Glad it worked for you too! I will be more careful with the upcoming upgrades: I am not interested in the advertised AI functionalities and I plan to stay on 17.4.1 and then see how it goes...
Also have this problem. Brand new battery three months ago (96%), iPhone 12, barely usable if I know I’m going to be away from power for a few hours.
