When asking a question, tell us "what" rather than "how".
One feature that stands out allowing the folks trying to help you to assist you better is to ask a question telling us what you're trying to do instead of how you're trying to do it.
A perfect example arose on the Apple Support Communities a few days ago. A person explained (s)he has an iPhone and an Apple Watch and wants to purchase an iPad. (S)he wants internet access on the new iPad, and asked if it's possible to switch the SIM card from the iPhone to the iPad, and still make and receive calls on the Apple Watch.

By asking the question in that manner, the method of solving some problem was assumed, without really stating what the problem really is. Later, it came out that (s)he simply wants to use the iPad on car trips and places lacking Wi-Fi. But since (s)he already has an iPhone, asking about transferring the SIM card obfuscated the much more straightforward solution to this particular problem, which is to use the iPhone to set up a Hotspot. Doing so would provide Wi-Fi to the iPad. (S)he would never have to remove the SIM from the iPhone, and would not even have to spend extra money to obtain a cellular model iPad.
Similar experiences occur on these Communities frequently. Again, tell us what you're trying to do. Let the folks with a lot of diverse technical experience suggest how.
