extract audio - and then?
I'm only using it because I want to extract audio from a video clip (which I was told iMovie could do) and get it into an mp3 file. Let's call the video "aggravation".
I've figured out this much so far:
The video was in avi format, which apparently displeased iPhoto, and it converted it to MP4 format. OK, I'm easy to get along with.
Under "Advanced", I chose "Extract Audio"
It did this, and now I have "aggravation - audio" in the top of 3 sections on the bottom of the screen.
NOW what? I want that extracted audio as an mp3 file, but I can't figure how to get it "out" of iMovie.
What's my next (and hopefully last) step???
I have searched all over in these forums, and found questions that LOOKED like they would answer this question, but they didn't.
I did find one thread where the solution seemed like a work-around. It involved exporting the video to QuickTime, choosing "sound to aiff", then importing it into iTunes, and selecting "convert to mp3".
Seems to me there should be a more direct method ....
