Where are plug-ins located

I cannot believe this BFd LIte is not going to work with GB3. The guy at Guitar Center promised I would have new drums sounds. Where are the GarageBand plug-ins located, anyway, I've looked in my libraries, system folder, etc. This is really stressing me out!

Let me rephrase...where are GarageBand plugins stored. If I were to get a jampack, for instance, where would it go. BFD LIte is in components, and I've gotten the application to work, and the Akai MPD24 will play my simple drum kits in garage band, as well as the super-cool ones in BFD, but I can't get the BFD sounds to play in GarageBand. I guess I want to shove the BFD VST stuff wherever garage band stuff is supposed to go...

One more question, and I'm done. I went to the B & B page, very cool, by the way, followed up to a sound font page, downloaded an sf2 file called ghost drum and dropped it into first audio/sounds/banks in my HD library and then my user library, opened GB and there was nothing new that I could find. Both banks folders, by the way, were empty before I put in that sf2. I guess I'm missing something.
