I can not activate Iphone. when i hooked it to my computer it went right to phone info and did not go through the activation process. and when i turn on the iPhone it says waiting for AT&T activation this may take some time. any one else have this problem if so ant way to get back or bring up the activation screen
have you finally activated your iPHone? I need your input guys regarding activating the iphone straight from the box. I have been trying to talk to AT&T and/or Apple cust. service for 2 days now, did get in hold w/ them but they couldn't give me a solution to my problem.
I have a Windows XP service pack 2 OS and have downloaded as well the itunes 7.4 into my PC. As i go to iTunes to activate my phone (I chose the prepaid option) and was already given a mobile number and pin, and clicked "continue" button, you will be directed to "fund" your phone/line thru the prepaid refill website of At&T and I stopped there w/ this message:
The AT&T refill system supports only internet browser that allow "cookies".
Please consult your browser's user documentation to correctly configure your settings to allow browser cookies.
I couldn't go any further w/ my activation process despite changing my security level on my internet options to the lowest level and allow all cookies for the meantime, even after I restarted my PC.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?
I know I should go to an At&T store for one to seek help, but also I was told that the activation process should include activating the iPhone w/ iTunes in your computer to sync w/ it.
