Doesn't work with Panera's verification redirection.

Not sure why it wouldn't work. I was expecting to see their default page, click OK, and be online. The iPhone said it couldn't find the server.

Anyone else try a verification page authorization that failed?

Just had breakfast there, turning off pop-up blocking didn't work. Entering 4.2.2.2 for the url worked. I'm wondering if "any" numerical URL will work, though.

I could not get Panera to work either by email and then finally Safari opened it without me accepting WIFI and it worked - different login than other WIFI though

Hmmm, the networks I can't connect too also have nothing in "search domain". I wonder if that's the problem?

The reason why I tried "search domain" was because I've found that, when in doubt, trying an IP address should work (since all sites are IP addresses with common text "masks" on). If, for some strange reason, you can't get to a DNS server from Paneras, then the "name" of their authentication site never points to a proper IP address. I wouldn't be surprised if no "search domain" would be part of the problem.

I have found this to be a problem at places other than just Panera. Seems most of the time that I try to get on a free WiFi access point (like Panera or Tullys) I never get the redirect page. Consequently Safari times out because it cannot connect to the server.
