Can't print with HP photosmart 7350 (2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac)

I am unable to print from my new 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac, running OS 10.4.8 or 10.4.10, to a USB HP photosmart 7350 printer. Printer works fine, and wil lprint from a PPC Mac running OS 10.4.8. iMac prints fine to a HP laserjet.

I'm not sure why I can't print, but I am unable to find a printer driver for the photosmart 7350.

Q1. Should there be a driver for the HP photosmart 7350 included in my basic OS install?
Q2. If not is there another, in the basic install, that will adequaely substitute?
Q3. If not, is there another, from somewhere else (nothing useful on HP support / downloads sites), that will do the job?

Sincerely
Dougal

Reading your post I am assuming that:
1) you got your new iMac, hooked everything to it
2) loaded all your item specific software and drivers

HP products have a quirk in that the software/drivers have to be loaded prior to attaching the hardware to most computers (small print in instructions).

If you did the above, try removing all HP software and drivers, unplugg the printer from the iMac and restart, reload HP software/drivers and attach printer either when it tells you to, or after installation.

Hope this helps.
