Yahoo mail not sending from iphone!

I talked to a support guy on the phone today and he said I was the third person he talked to with this type of issue. They said they were going have the developers look into it but this has to be a yahoo issue.

Now my web mail is not being sent from my yahoo account that I set up. It all shows in the sent folder but it is not being sent out. So I signed up for another one and I get a similar issue, all messages are delayed by at least 8 hours and I still need to enter the encrypted characters each time I send an email. Yahoo needs to get on this, this not only effect people using the iphone but people that sign up for a yahoo mail account.

Yahoo does not have a phone number to call, only a service form to fill out and they will email you back.
I have received a few of the emails I sent from the web to myself after about 8 hours of lag. So they may be working on the issue. Too bad we have to wait for yahoo to fix it, I think apple would have done something by now if it was in their court.

Um...yeah.
Yahoo is going to be no help. Tech just got back to me and say they are able to send messages without the encryption and say they see no problems...
They suggested sending mail as plain text with no signature. Tried it, still encrypted and extremely delayed in receiving it.
This is getting ridiculous now!

In the last 30 min I have been able to send email successfully from my yahoo account.
Maybe someone is making progress, but I'm afraid to keep testing this in case my spam sending thing kicks in again and take email down again.

I have been having this problem with all my e-mail accounts

.mac, gmail and yahoo

so has my wife

myway and yahoo

and a couple other people I know are having problems with their .mac mail.

This is very absurd, considering that I have lost time/business due to e-mails not being received by clients, which as you all know is makes me look bad.

Now I have to resort to only sending important e-mails from a computer, which defeats the purpose of having an iPhone! I know that my blackberry worked really well and never failed, EVER!

P.S. - I am a huge apple enthusiast, make a living off of them, but this is bad, especially since it is happening with .mac!!!

I actually just received 3 e-mails from yahoo to yahoo, iphone to iphone, 3 or 4 days after they were sent. So much for Push e-mail!!! Same with .mac, but not all of them have gone through yet, still ridiculous!

My Yahoo email seems to be working now (KNOCK-ON-WOOD!!!). I can send email via the iphone, then check online and the email I send is in the Sent Folder (it's in the sent folder on my iphone, too). When I send an email from my computer, it shows up in my sent folder on my iphone. It's "pushing" too. (again KNOCK-ON-WOOD)

I don't know if the problem with my Yahoo email was somthing with Yahoo or the iphone. I returned the iphone for a new one last friday and ever since then, my yahoo email has been working. Coincidence??

Now they are showing up in Sent messages but the recipients aren't getting them.

This is also happening on the web interface.

What is up with Yahoo???

Now I am having the same issue.

Everything seems to be fine, I hear the whoosh, it appears in the sent mailbox, but is never delivered! Very frustrating, as you can imagine!
