I don't know when, but the full screen function in my Quicktime Pro got messed up by an update. It went full screen, not the whole video, just the screen. Video would stay the same size as it was, it just had a black border around the rest of the screen. Well now it won't maximize after the update, but the full screen works now. Lately it seems like every update, no matter what software it updates, seems to downgrade something. In some cases to the point that it won't even function. I hope this won't be the case when Leapard gets released. I'm seriously thinking of wiping out everything and starting it all with a fresh install of everything, just to avoid any headaches that may surface. As far as the "maximize" issue goes, it just isn't like Apple to take something great and make it crappy. So, I hope that they get a fix out soon, before it irritates people to the point that they figure all of Apple's software is like that, and decide to stop the Great Migration from the Dark Side (a.k.a Windows) to the Mac platform. The people are switching over to the Macintosh so fast that it's almost scary for those of us that have been here since the beginning. So, wake up Apple, what you've started can be turned around to favor others. Remember the 80's? Let's not screw this up. For a change we Mac users don't have to be the one's who hide in the shadows whenever somebody wants to argue what platform is the best. It feels good to be able to say I told you so to the poor folks who've been led to believe that working on a Mac would be too hard to do for them because they've been a slave to an OS that makes doing anything seem impossible. Please fix the problem, or someone's going to fix it and at the same time find about a dozen security flaws to exploit. We don't want to scare the newbees away with that.
