lock a window in front

Is there anyway to lock a window to always be "in front" of the desktop, regardless of what other windows I'm working in?

In particular, I'm working with Powerpoint and Word and would like to keep a small iTunes video window in front so I can see a music video I'm playing at all times.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

For iTunes, in Preferences-Advanced-General, check "keep Miniplayer on top of all other windows". Then while iTunes is playing, go to WIndow menu and select Zoom(or ctrl-command-Z) to show the MiniPlayer it will stay on top.

There is a free applications(system preference) can do the "always on top" thing for other applications: Aloat. It works for Quicktime, Safari, Mail etc.

Hi,
The question is how to keep the video on top. The setting "keep Miniplayer..." and the Zoom command keeps the control panel on top, but the video is not shown.
What if you click on the "Now playing" window and resize the video window to the smallest size? (there is hopefully some space on your screen for this small window.

Do you want to control iTunes in an easy way?
Activate the iTunes widget. This makes it possible to control your videos after pressing F12 without requiring any screen space.
