I have this same problem, along with this message I get a message stating that some of the files are out of date and asking me to check the button to fix it. When I do say ok fix it, I get a message error that quick time is not properly installed. When I try to remove it to re-install, I get a message that I cannot remove it., I have tried the uninstaller program, and deleted out the program files but nothing seems to work.

Hmmm i did a few things to no avail. I installed buffershield but it keeps showing this X on the lock that it's not working. I uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing I formated my XP and nothing i even did install different older drivers for my 88000 GTX and nothing.

In my windows XP quicktime doesn't even start i double click on it and it crashes saying the buffer overflow. But in Vista Home Basic and Premium i get to see the quicktime loading , but then it crashes while in Business and Ultimate i get the same effect as in XP.

My Quicktime was working fine untill i installed the Ace mega pack, but that will not explain why it's not working after i formated and reinstalled.
