Quick question for xbox360 owners: Does it play the mp3s on your iPhone?

My nano was stolen so I bought an iPhone. My xbox360 only sees the pictures inside it, not the mp3s. I remember I had to install special drivers from microsoft for iPod support so maybe that's why it's not working, however, I read some post somewhere where a couple people said it worked so I'd like to make sure:

Is it, or is it not possible to make the xbox360 see and play the mp3s on the iPhone?
