Hi All,

I have the full version of Crossover on my MBP 2.2 C2D with Tiger 10.4.11 and I have also installed Windows Media Player 9 for mac. I think I have to also install "Internet Explorer 6 via Crossover". If I do do so, when I finally get to set everything up, will the fact that I will be using IE6 and Sopcast on my mac then make my MBP open up to all sorts of viruses and malware? I am really concerned about this as my main reason to buy a Mac was to get away from all that kind of stuff! I would be very thankful for help on this!

I am following the instructions for using Darwine.

I installed Sopcast.
However, after a successful log in, Sopcast crashes.

The darwine log is:

err:module:import_dll Library MFC71.DLL (which is needed by L"C:\\Program >Files\\SopCast\\CrashReport\\XCrashReport.exe") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\Program >Files\\SopCast\\CrashReport\\XCrashReport.exe" failed, status c0000135

I downloaded and MFC71.DLL, but still no luck.

wine: Call from 0x7b8328b8 to unimplemented function msvcr71.dll._vscwprintf, aborting

next, I downloaded and installed msvcr71.dll.

Now sopcast crashes, and I am not sure what is wrong...
Here is the log
