How to download iPhoto 08

Hi - I tried to upgrade to iPhoto 08 but the Apple menu within iPhoto. However it runs the 07.07 and says it is runing the latest.

Can anybody help ? Do I actualy need to buy it ?

Sorry for the idiotic question but I am pretty much a new Mac user.

iLife '08 is a suite of programs that includes iPhoto version 7.

So there's lots of confusion about iPhoto 7 and iPhoto '08. Those mean the same thing. iPhoto 7.01 would be the newest update to version 7.

Money is required to update from version 6 to version 7
