dead like black pixel splotches..

I have a mbp c2d 2.16 ghz...
Ive been reading and it seems that many people has had this same problem..
I have some dirty like dead pixels in my screen that look like if it was dirty.. but it is not, it is under the screen...
Ive seen some pictures of other posters and they are exacty.. what worries me is that theyhave been multiplying...
has someone that had this same problem have been helped or the problem has been solved ?

My MBP17 c2d 2.33ghz has the same problem. The splotches gather around the center of the screen. They are exactly in a square around the apple logo on the backside... Just not on the bottom side. Somewhere I read it could be related to the glue/stickytape which holds the diffusion-gel for the apple logo... I think my case backs this theory... Of course my MBP is out of warrenty, so last chance is Apple to recognise this problem...So Apple, please.
And: 2 of my friends having MBPs also have this problem...

I bought my MBP off a guy selling it on eBay. When the computer arrived, it had one small dot that I took for a dead pixel right in the same place you describe (just left and below center). In the past day, three more splotches have appeared and they are growing. I do a lot with graphics and this is unacceptable. Where does this end? Is the whole screen going to turn splotchy?
