Skywalker Sound Effects

Skywalker Sound FX is not a plugin, but rather a group of AIF files stored in your Library>iMovie>Sound Effects folder.

Try looking there. You can still import them.

Unless I'm missing something...no...Skywalker Sound Effects are not there. Someone correct me if I'm wrong because I was looking for them too.

Does iMovie'08 still have Skywalker Sound Effects.

Save your money...iMovie 08 is a huge let down...all sorts of features have been removed.

Shippey, is that a "from scratch" install, or an upgrade over iLife 06?

I think I will save my money. But when Mac OSX Leopard is released, iMovie'08 will be hard to avoid.

Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. The improvements to all the other applications (especially GarageBand) have been top-notch.

iPhoto - snappier w/ events smart folders
iDVD - guides and professional encoder
GarageBand - too numerous to list the great additions

Hard to tell since I upgraded from iLife 06 and they were already in place.
