Linking cells between different sheets

I am working on a film production budget. I am trying to link up the account numbers on the Summary Budget Sheet to their corresponding data on the Details Sheet. The hyperlink is only restricted to the web or to an email. Can anyone help? Thank you

When you're on the Summary sheet, click in the cell you want to pull data from another sheet and then enter an equal sign (=) and use the cursor to click on the sheet name in the sheet list (left column) the data is on and then click on the cell. A formula will appear. Click the check symbol and that's it.

Basically all point and click.

With the most precise description of what you need, it appears that there is no such tool available by now.
There is an Hyperlink tool but it is not made to fit your needs.

You may *go to "Provide Numbers Feedback" in the "Numbers" menu* and described what you need as you did in your late post. MAYBE the idea will be taken in account.

I don't want to pull data from another sheet. I want to link the accounts on my summary sheet to the full detailed accounts on my Detail Sheet.

When I click on Acct 1100 on my Summary Sheet, I want to be taken to the full detailed Acct 1100 on my Detail Sheet.

In Excel I used to Define the name of the account on the Detail Sheet. Then I used an Hyperlink to link up the same account on my Summary Sheet to the Detail Sheet.

It would also be useful if you could link to different files you have on your own machine.
Simply a link that points to a file and opens that file in whatever program nessesary.
