VNC wake from sleep

Hi all,

I am using Chicken of the VNC to connect from a iBook to my iMac. The iMac is often asleep and Chicken of the VNC does not seem to be able to connect when it is. Does anyone know if there is a way to have the iMac wake from sleep for a VNC connection? Thanks.

Not really a solution, because I don't know how to make the iMac wake for that reason, but you should just have the iMac not sleep. You can set the display and hard drive to sleep.

Or if you access the iMac via VNC at a recurring time, or if there is a time period (such as middle of the night) when you would never access the iMac via VNC, you can set it not to sleep for inactivity and use the schedule times when the iMac is always awake or usually sleeping.
