Possible to add an "Automatic Configuration Script" to mobile safari?

I am having an issue with my home network (Airport Extreme)and Iphone. I am using Wildblue for my ISP (satellite internet) - I have noticed that some websites (iphonealley.com was one of them) were not loading on my iphone. Getting the error:

Safari can't open the page.
The error was: "lost network connection"
(INSURLErrorDomain:-1005)

I was getting the same error on Safari on my Mac and was able to fix it by adding the Wildblue conguration script to the internet settings (under proxies in (system prefs > network > Built in ethernet) - there us a selection called "Automatic proxy configuration" and using wildblue's proxy file:
http://wpad/wildblue.com/wpad.dat
corrected Safari on my mac - these sites now load fine.

Is there a way to add this to the Iphone network settings?

G4, Mac OS X (10.4.10)
