Replacement silver back?

Several companies sell the back plate and black bottom cover. Also have videos showing how to replace both. Not for the faint of heart and definately voids warranty. One question that no one seems to be able to answer however, is will Apple still work on the phone for a charge if you have changed the back panel.

Yes -- Apple will work on anything you want them to work on -- but if you have voided your warranty you will be charged full price for the repair. They will swap out batteries even if you have dyed your iPhone green for the regular battery price. This is no different from their computers and iPods. But once you void your warranty, charges will be at the full Apple repair rate, not at the subsidized rateyou get while under warranty.

that also happen to me but good thing because i then heard loose screws inside the phone when it vibrates. so i call apple and they said send it in and then when they sent it back, i got me a new phone!!
