iskin keyboard cover

is it advisable to use an iskin keyboard cover? will it heat up my macbook or cause ventilation problems?

am using both a speck clear case for my macbook plus an iskin keyboard protector.

iBook G4 800MHz, 1gb shuffle, 4gb nano, 13 inch 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo Macbook, Mac OS X (10.4.10), 120gb HD, 1.2gb RAM, SuperDrive (iBook); 250gb HDD, 3gb RAM (Macbook)

Hi Alvin,

I use keyboard cover, and so far I never had my macbook overheated, but I am not using the speck clear case, so I cannot comment with that product even though I saw it has ventilation grid hole at it.

I use an iSkin cover, and since I have moderately hairy hands/knuckles, it definitely does the trick - nothing gets through! Its also helps reduce germs because you can wash it with soapy water every once in a while. I haven't had any ventilation problems using it, since it doesn't cover the rear vents.
