Error parsing addresses with apartment numbers to Google Maps
I have notice a parsing error when selecting an address (from the address book) containing an apartment number to be displayed in Google Maps. For example: an address like 123 Main Street, Anywhere, CA, 91111 when selected in Address Book opens the correct location. An address such as 123 Main Street, #A, Anywhere , CA, 91111 is parsed incorrectly and displays the wrong location on the map.
Interestingly, Google Maps when accessed from a web browser has the same problem. I would have expected more intelligent parsing of the address on the iPhone.
Does anyone have a work around? The only way I've been able to get around it is to manually enter the address in Google Maps on the phone losing the convenience of just tapping the address in the address book.
