Screen Protector & Speaker

I just got my new iPhone yesterday and I love it. However, there is one thing bugging me. Whenever I'm on the phone, the earpiece volume is VERY low (volume is at max). I am thinking it may be due to the original plastic that came with the iPhone because it is still on and covers the earpiece. Has anyone else experienced this? Will taking the plastic off make the earpiece louder? Thanks.

That is not a screen protector. That is plastic wrap. Take it off. 🙂

You can purchase screen protectors that have cutouts for the Home button and earpiece.

I've already ordered an InvisibleShield. I love that product, have it on my iPod. But just for the time being, is the "plastic wrap" causing the earpiece to be quiet?

Yes, it is. You will notice a huge difference not having that plastic covering the earpiece.

To me the speaker is very low still. I never listended to it with the plastic on, but compared to my old phone, its very quiet.
